• Cafe Le Monde, 64 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads, has live music with Band Of Frquencies and Jahzen.

• Australia Day Awards and family fun, Noosaville Lions Park, Gympie Terrace, Noosaville. There will be plenty of Aussie fun for all the family at the Noosa Australia Day celebrations in Noosaville. The event is presented by Tewantin Noosa Lions Club and Rotary Club of Noosa. The Australia Day Noosa Local Legends awards will be presented, celebrating the outstanding achievements of individuals and groups in the region.

• Eumundi Live facebook.com/EumundiLive. 1-5:30pm at Eumundi Amphitheatre, Memorial Drive, Eumundi. All-ages music festival in Eumundi Amphitheatre, with a feast of pop, funk, dance and rock. Headlining areThe John Steel Singers, along with The Dawn Chorus, Barry Charles and the Deeper Beat, and Tea Society. There’s a KidZone and food and drinks available. • Beach Party at Sunshine Beach SLSC sunshinebeachslsc.com.au at Noosaville Lions Park, Gympie Terrace, Noosaville. It’s an Australia Day Beach

• Party at Sunshine Beach Surf Life Saving Club, Noosaville Lions Park, Gympie Terrace, Noosaville with Aussie giveaways, $15 giant Aussie burgers and listen to the Triple J Hottest 100 on the deck.

• Miss Moneypenny’s 07 54749999. From 12pm at 6 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads. Grownup entertainment with Resident DJ. Pacha. Ibiza, supported by DJ Dave Faul.

• Ettamogah Pub and Aussie World just 30 minutes south of Noosa on the Bruce Highway. There are true blue events, entertainment and fun for the family this Australia Day. The Ettamogah Pub kicks it off at 10am with an Australian flag-raising ceremony and national anthem. Then it’s time for the dunnies to start racing with teams vying for the toilet seat trophy. The pubis open from 9am, Bluey’s Bar & Grill from 11am and there’s live music throughout the afternoon. There are cars, caravans, utes and bikes from the veteran era through to the classics of the 50s, 60s and 70s. The Aussie World theme park has more than 30 rides and games, including water play area Leak’n Logs, water ride Plunge, thrill ride Redback and fun Giant Slide.
